Lingaa is a Tamil action thriller film directed by K.S. Ravikumar, who also scripted the film in collaboration with the film's dialogue writer, Pon Kumaran. The film stars Rajinikanth playing dual role, Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Music was composed by A. R. Rahman[3][4] while cinematography was headed by R. Rathnavelu. This is slated to get released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language.
Principal photography commenced during the last week of May 2014 in Mysore; immediately after the release of Kochadaiiyaan. Majority of the filming took place in Ramoji Film City. The climax portions were filmed in Shimoga.

The wedding took place in the district's Meerkhola Vilage, reports the Prothom Olo daily.
According to the daily, Haque signed the Kabin Nama (marriage document) at around 3 pm on Friday after paying Taka 5,00,001 as denmohor. The wedding was attended by over 700 people from the minister's side.
Apart from four reception gates, most of the intersections on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway were decorated to greet the bridegroom minister. Haque had to pay Taka 1,00,001 to his sisters-in-law for passing the gates to enter the bridal venue.

We had a really fun first hour or two dancing, then this guy (who was a much more experienced dancer than me, swing has a steep learning curve) danced with her 4ish times in the span of 20 minutes, walking up to us when we were talking and whisking her away into a world of dips and spins.
When I came back from a cigarette he was taking her into the side room (which is where I take girls when I want a more intimate environment).
I told her that I wasn’t ok with what was going on and she insisted that it was alright because we weren’t in a relationship.

My 17 year old daughter wants her boyfriend to be allowed to spend the night, him on the couch and her in her bed. My husband is also pressuring me to agree to this. My 15 year old daughter thinks it would be totally unfair if we allowed this, since we said no to her staying overnight with a male friend (not a boyfriend).

J Jayalalithaa, the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu who was recently released from jail in a corruption case, may be about to receive a break in another case.
The union government is allegedly ready to enable Ms Jayalalithaa to make an out-of-court settlement with the income tax department for failing to file returns two decades ago for two consecutive years (1991-92 and 1992-93). Co-accused with her in the criminal case is her close friend, Sasikala Natarajan.
In August, the centre set up a committee to process Ms Jayalalithaa's application seeking the compounding of the alleged offences - this means the government's tax department and she can arrive at an agreement without the permission or intervention of the court. The committee has decided in favour of her, said sources.
Ms Jayalalithaa is known to enjoy a strong equation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In January this year, the Supreme Court ordered that the 66-year-old politician, who was then heading the Tamil Nadu government, will be prosecuted in a Chennai court for alleged tax offences.
In late September, Ms Jayalalithaa, who heads the AIADMK which governs Tamil Nadu, was convicted of corruption in a case dating back to her first term as chief minister in the early 90s. She was disqualified as a law-maker and cannot run for election for 10 years, unless her conviction is over-turned by a higher court. Jayalalithaa spent three weeks in jail before being granted bail. The Supreme Court has said that all paperwork for her appeal must be filed by December 18, failing which, she could be re-arrested.
After her arrest, she installed trusted aide O Panneerselvam as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu; at the oath-taking ceremony, he wept into a handkerchief like several other ministers demonstrating their loyalty to their jailed leader.
